Meet our Senior Academic Support Specialist, Melissa Wallace
Melissa Wallace, MS, LCMHC is a key academic success contact for both faculty and students in the College of Allied Health Sciences (CAHS). Committed to student retention and achievement, she provides essential support services to undergraduate and graduate students.
With a focus on enhancing the overall educational experience and achieving meaningful learning outcomes, Melissa collaborates closely with faculty, CAHS stakeholders, and students to foster academic success and support professional growth across the college.
Her services include delivering evidence-based interventions for students facing academic challenges, partnering with faculty and leadership to design, implement, and assess small-group workshops, and serving as a consultative resource in complex student support situations. She also connects students with campus resources and facilitates learning experiences that promote academic, personal, and professional development—strengthening students’ sense of belonging and overall well-being.
