Prospective ECU PhD students
The PhD degree in Rehabilitation Sciences is designed to train the next generation of researchers to understand and explore the challenges that individuals with communication and swallowing disorders experience. The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders offers a concentration in Communication Sciences and Disorders in the Rehabilitation Science program. Full graduate assistantships funding (tuition +stipend) are available for qualified and meritorious applicants to pursue doctoral work in those research areas. The Cleft Palate Speech Imaging & Visualization Research Laboratory is seeking outstanding scholars to join our research team as PhD students. Current ECU MS-SLP Students
Students in their first year of the MS-SLP program at ECU may opt to do a Master’s thesis. The Cleft Palate Speech Imaging & Visualization Research Lab can support these clinical students in their research aspirations. Contact Dr. Perry if you are interested in conducting a thesis project.
Current ECU Undergraduates
The laboratory often has positions for ECU undergraduate students during the academic year and summer. Undergraduates can conduct research in the lab as volunteers or for academic credit.
