CAHS Welcomes New Faculty Member

Welcome Dr. Walenski!

Dr. Matthew Walenski has joined the college as an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. He is the director of the Language, Memory, and Brain laboratory.

His research examines language and its relation to memory systems and their roots in the brain, with a focus on the comprehension and production of words and sentences. He favors the use of temporally sensitive experimental methods to probe language processing as it unfolds in real time. He studies these issues in healthy adults and in adults with acquired neurogenic disorders.
