CSDI Researcher Awarded ECU R/C Grant

Dr. Patrick Briley, a clinical researcher in the CSDI department, was recently awarded an ECU Research and Creative Activities Grant for his project “A Telehealth Approach to Addressing Confidence in SLPs’ Management of Children Who Stutter.”

Dr. Briley’s project aims to increase the confidence levels of speech-language pathologists who are treating children who stutter. Through training and observing therapy sessions led by Dr. Briley, the hope is that the knowledge and confidence of the SLPs will be significantly enhanced, thus providing better therapy services to the children.

Congratulations, Dr. Briley!
