Kudos to Dr. Zhou!
Dr. Ning Zhou, associate professor in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department, was recently awarded a grant for her project “Clinical Implications of Sensitivity to Pulse Phase Duration in Cochlear Implants” via theĀ William Demant Foundation.
Her project aims to explore pulse phase duration sensitivity as a marker of neural health in individuals with cochlear implants (CI). This work will help to characterize neural health along the electrode array, may explain differences in CI outcomes, and may help to optimize CI signal processing.
