Dr. James Lin, assistant professor in the Physical Therapy Department, will serve as a co-investigator on a new NIH R21 award.
The project “Characterizing Brain Activation and Postural Response During Concurrent Cognitive Tasks in the Presence of Optic Flow Stimulation: A Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy Study” (PI: Dr. Brian Sylcott – College of Engineering & Technology) aims to understand the patterns of brain activation and postural responses during varying cognitive tasks.
