CAHS 5 Years of Research
Over the last five years, the College of Allied Health Sciences has seen exponential research growth. According to the Associate Dean for Research, Dr. Heather Harris Wright, the researchers within the College consist of bench scientists, clinical researchers, and applied behavioral researchers. All, working collaboratively with their students, contribute to scientific advancement by putting forth multidisciplinary and innovative research that seeks to improve function and quality of life and reduce disability across the lifespan. The four major research areas for the College are prevention and intervention, community engagement and education, population health, and health services and delivery. Research done in each major area has contributed to the research trends exhibited by the College.
