Congratulations Dr. Zhou!
Dr. Ning Zhou, an Associate Professor within the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, was recently awarded a NIH R01 grant for her project, “Using Psychophysical Methods to Understand and Improve Speech Recognition In Cochlear Implant Users”.
In her Auditory Prosthesis Psychophysics and Perception Lab, Dr. Zhou’s research primarily focuses on measuring functional responses of an auditory prosthesis using various psychophysical measures. With this new grant, Dr. Zhou plans to use psychophysical methods to better understand speech recognition patterns in cochlear implant users.
