Jovanna Zapata, BS (student)

I am a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Exercise Physiology and will be pursuing a career in Physical Therapy next year. I volunteered in the PeARL lab for the HABIT training in December 2021 and gained immense amount of knowledge with pediatric physical therapy and rehabilitation. One of my classes (KINE 4991) this semester allows me to take part in research, so I am very honored to be a part of the PeARL lab team again. I am looking forward to seeing the progress the children make as well as watching them grow a better understanding of Cerebral Palsy and how they can learn to increase their motor function with the help of our team.
