Caroline Pusey, BS, DPT (student)

I am a current 2nd year DPT student at ECU. I began a graduate assistantship with Dr. Surkar in the PeARL lab in Spring 2022 and have since been contributing to the remote ischemic conditioning clinical trial.  My interest in the PeARL lab began with my involvement in the HABIT study in December 2021 as a team leader. Working with the PEARL lab has been incredibly rewarding and allowed me to work alongside other team members to engage with various participants and make a positive impact on their lives.  Through my experience so far, I have been able to learn more about the vast field of physical therapy, developed a love for pediatrics, and hope to explore this through future projects and clinical experiences.
