Mission

ECUALS (ECU Accessibility Lab for Swallowing) is dedicated to improving swallowing assessment and treatment. We are focused on identification of patient- and provider-based barriers to services for individuals at risk of swallowing dysfunction (i.e., dysphagia). We aim to facilitate the provision of high-quality, patient-centered services to improve quality-of-life as well as prevent dysphagia-associated health complications.
